The mother in Chicago had a baby boy who eventually grew out his of clothes. The mother, who lived in Ohio at the time, got surprising news that she was expecting a baby boy and needed clothes. So, the mother in Chicago, shipped the clothes that were too small for her son to the other mother. Then, the mother in Chicago got news that she was expecting another baby boy and the mother now living in Georgia shipped those clothes back to the mother in Chicago. The story doesn’t end here, the mother in Georgia got news that she was expecting again with another baby boy. So, the the mother in Chicago shipped those clothes back to the mother in Georgia. Wouldn’t you believe that both their husbands were ecstatic with the whole idea because they knew that their wives love to shop and by trading clothes they would not need to spend as much money. This method saved these families, time and money.
This story is about my cousin and I. When we started recycling clothes we had no idea it would go this far. Eventually, two more mothers in Chicago got in on the trading and my husband said “may be you should make a business out of this.” Now nine years later here we are!
Today, my children are now six and nine and Jahonna’s children are five and eight years old and we both added new baby boys that are one-years old to our family. Jahonna and I are still trading clothes… until they out grow each other. We pray that doesn’t happen anytime soon! We have saved at least $50,000 dollars if not more. I love my cousin for being able to blessed me and I know she feels the same.
